Ketam’s food development team created a selection of natural bone broths and stocks, all rigorously tested for approval. We developed a brand architecture that allowed for expansion across multiple product lines, including beef, pork, chicken, and fish, using the 'clean deck' concept to highlight the purity of the products. The brand was named Bia, the Irish word for food, to underscore its Irish roots. A strong brand identity was established, complemented by attractive pouch packaging with clear SKU differentiation to showcase the product range.

We also created a strategic sales presentation that was tested with key buyers in Ireland, the UK, and Asia using prototypes. The feedback was highly positive, setting the stage for a strong market entry. As the project moved forward, Ketam oversaw the planning of a new production facility in the south of Ireland. This involved factory design, BRC management, costing and scheduling for fixed and raw materials, sourcing the right architect and build partners, and handling grant applications and financing. We continue to manage all legislative requirements.

Ketam’s full-circle approach provided Bia with the complete infrastructure needed to bring its vision to life. We are currently working on the build of the new plant, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. It's an exciting time for Bia as the company moves closer to transforming the bone broth market.
