Connolly Organic Eggs, a small organic farm egg producer, approached Ketam with the goal of expanding their sales and brand footprint into new territories across Ireland. At the time, they had a successful relationship with Lidl, selling one product into their stores. However, the company needed a comprehensive review of their product lines and sales strategy to build relationships with new buyers and drive further growth.
Solution
Ketam conducted a thorough review of the business, helping the owner prepare for sustainable growth. While increasing sales was a priority, we focused on ensuring that Connolly Organic Eggs could scale up production effectively, maintaining a consistent product and having the capacity to meet market demand. After ensuring that production capabilities were aligned with growth targets, we expanded the product range to include corn-fed, barn, and free-range eggs alongside the existing organic line, broadening the offering to cater to more customer preferences.
A strategic sales plan was developed, providing a structured and controlled path for growth. This plan included detailed costing models, supply chain infrastructure, and a relationship-building strategy with key buyers. Over the past five years, Ketam has worked closely with Connolly Organic Eggs, successfully expanding the business into every county in Ireland. Today, the company is operating at full capacity, delivering high-quality eggs across the country and continuing to strengthen its market presence.
